Sims Medieval Pc Download

- edited August 2011First off, you might try asking over on the Sims Medieval forums for help as they have their own forums for TSM questions.
As to a possible answer, you must have had an installation serial number even if you dl'ed it from EA/Origin. It may have been in an email, or it may be possible to reget it via the Origin interface. Not sure as I had way too many issues with DL'ed games/EP/SP's but I sort of remember an email with the serial number in it, or it may be possible to get it from Origin.
Might try upgrading from the EA Download Manager to their new Origin manager if you havent already. - edited August 2011You need the pirates and nobles expansion pack for patch 2.X.0
- edited August 2011Medieval has a new 'securom' type security. It Was securom, they upgraded it to some new sony security disc protection. That is most likely the issue.
The patch is out and has a lot of pirates and nobels features. But the EP isn't out until Aug 30 th I think, so no she doesn't need the EP yet.
I don't know how to fix your issue but I suggest the medieval forum (not much traffic there though) , or the official EA and origin forum, especially if you downloaded this through origin.

good luck. I'd go right to the origin forum if I were you. - edited February 2012Hell Ravo,
I do not mean to bring back such an old thread but I too am having this EXACT same problem. I just came back to the Sims Medieval after a long break and am running into this problem. I am wondering of you found a fix? I am asking on the Sims Medieval boards but they are moving really slowly these days. I am very curious to find out if you fixed your problem as I can't find a lot of info on this particular issue. Just taking a shot in the dark that you might respond! - edited June 2012I haven't played Sims Medieval in a while, and decided that tonight I was going to play after a few months of not being interested.
I installed the new patches for both 1.3 and 2.0
Now, when I click to play Sims Medieval, I am hit with this message
'You have attempted to access a protected file which requires online activation before it can be used.'
I go ahead and click the 'OK' button to proceed and the next page reads
'please enter a valid serial into the supplied text area'
Valid serial? I downloaded the game through EA. I don't have the serial number for the game, unless it's hidden somewhere. Please help.
I'd like to play my game, and continue on my quests, but I don't have any of this information.

Because you downloaded the game you need to download the Digital patch version not the retail patch version. - edited June 2012Hell Ravo,

I know what you mean about the Medieval forums being somewhat useless; EA has pretty much abandoned the game. I also play Medieval, but I haven't run into this problem. Is your copy an Origin download or a physical CD copy? I have the physical base game and the digital P&N xpac. I would recommend a fresh reinstall of the game, and make sure you patch directly through the launcher rather than downloading the patch elsewhere. Digital registration codes don't need to be entered upon installation, as it is through Origin, but should you need them later, they're located in the game information through your game library (small icon next to game launch button). Hope that helps at all. If you want to save your saved games, make sure you remove them from your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims Medieval folder before uninstalling.RED DIRT ROAD: THE ORIGINAL TAYLOR FAMILY LEGACY - The Sims 4 Edition
